The Army is seeking a Radio Frequency and Tactical Communications Engineer to support innovation and integration effects, within a highly specialised engineering development and integration team.

The Role
The role’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Liaising with user groups and stakeholders to compile and refine user requirements within RF/Tactical communications specifications]
Analysing current / future technology to ensure compatibility and interoperability with Land, Defence material and future force requirements
RF/Tactical communications designs compliant with the LMSM and unit EMSD
RF/Tactical support to integration and interoperability activities
Provision of specialist engineering knowledge and advice as required
Your Background & Experience
The role requires demonstrated experience in:
A Washington Accord recognised bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering in the following disciplines in order to maintain relevant Technical Authorities under the units EMSD:
Electrical
Computer Systems/Science
Signals Processing
Other specialisations as defined by Engineers Australia for Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering
Experience with tactical communications integration (e.g. military, police)
