Product Coordinator

12 month contract
Army maintains and develops a number of bespoke communications and ICT services and applications with many unique requirements. A need has been identified for a Product Coordinator to support innovation and integration effects within a specialised engineering development and integration team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional who would be expected to support the development of artefacts across many areas such as Agile project management, stakeholder engagements, organisational governance and strategic communication. The successful candidate would be expected to work within a blended team of ADF, APS and contracted technical staff und understand the value of key documents such as PMP, Key BA artefacts and strategic power point presentations.

The Role
The role’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Monitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans for assigned projects;
Undertake assurance activities for projects to ensure that the delivery methodology is adhered to;
Contribute to resource capacity planning and forecasting activities;
Conduct risk and issues management activities and maintain risk and issue registers;
Assist with timely and accurate development and delivery of project documentation product requirements, presentation material, slide packs, minutes, briefs and reports;
Manage interdependencies, prioritisation and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluated;
Schedule and coordinate project Post Implementation Reviews and retrospectives;
Evaluate effectiveness of project management tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Your Background & Experience
The role requires demonstrated experience in:
Demonstrated experience providing assurance and support to multiple complex projects across a program of work;
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring timely updates and contributions to the risk/issues registers, schedule updates and resource estimates;
Demonstrated experience gathering project data and developing reports for presentation to senior stakeholders;
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including leveraging data to inform decision making;
Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders;
Ability to prioritise and balance multiple stakeholder priorities;
Experience using Agile, SAFe and PPM modules within ServiceNow will be highly regarded.
